The roadshow brought together dignitaries, investors, and business leaders from Bangladesh and Japan to build sustainable growth partnerships. The conference was attended by Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Japan State Minister of Economy Nakatani Shinichi, along with other government authorities and business leaders. During a ceremony in Tokyo, Japan, Medina Aichi Dental Service Ltd, a joint venture company between Update Dental College (sister concern of Aichi Healthcare Group, Bangladesh) and Medina Inc. Yokohama, Japan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish a Japan-standard CAD CAM digital lab in Bangladesh. ERISA Ltd worked as a co-organizer with SpellBound, Bangladesh of this event. Suborna Nandy (Director) and Nandy Khokan Kumar (Advisor) of ERISA Ltd played a vital role in this event. This marks the first-ever Japanese foreign direct investment (FDI) in the field of dentistry in Bangladesh.
The state-of-the-art lab will be equipped with advanced dental technologies for precise and efficient designing and manufacturing of dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, and implants, which will provide high-quality dental services to patients in Bangladesh. The investment is expected to revolutionize the dentistry industry in the country by providing world-class technology transfer to impart Digital Dentistry and Educational Exchange Program for dental professionals.
