Investment flash mob: Networking dinner in Tokyo, Japan for potentials of trade & investment in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) in partnership with Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in association of Erisa Ltd have organized Bangladesh Investment Summit on titled ‘Investment Flash Mob: Networking Dinner' in Tokyo, Japan. The Event was held at Hotel Ana Intercontinental, Tokyo on November 29, 2022 and supported by Oxygen Leathers NIPRO JMI Pharma Ltd. and Minori (Japan Bangladesh Limited). As a plan of organizing series of Bangladesh Investment Summit in different countries, it has been focusing to showcase Bangladesh Capital markets and Trade & Investment opportunities in Bangladesh to the global investors of different countries. The prime agenda of these summits is to portray Bangladesh and an attractive place for foreign investment with better returns and an improving scenario of the ease of doing business.




The event was held virtually after the prime minister's trip was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. As the chief guest, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's private sector industry and investment advisor Salman Fazlur Rahman attended the event virtually. Special guests included Masud Bin Momen, Foreign Secretary, who was also present virtually, and Bangladesh's ambassador to Japan, Sahabuddin Ahmed, who was physically present at the event.






The speakers discussed the business and investment opportunities in Bangladeshi mineral resources, oil and gas, natural resources, food processing, pharmaceuticals, small and medium engineering components, information and technology, software, education, and so on in Bangladesh. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen congratulated the success of this event. Leaders of various countries have sent congratulatory messages to Sheikh Hasina for her efforts in the development of Bangladesh.
